The SFF Academy
The provides free access to on-demand online course content, including courses for HEI staff looking to integrate entrepreneurial skills training into the curriculum and for researchers and students who wish to learn about entrepreneurship.
SFF Entrepreneurial Training Programmes
SFF run three programmes throughout the year - LEARN, Match and Start, Develop and Co-create - which deliver entrepreneurial training and guide students, graduates, and researchers on their entrepreneurial journey, from idea to market entry.
LEARN
The LEARN programme is an international short course for Bachelors and Masters level students.
Students work individually or in small teams to identify an innovative idea, create a value proposition canvas and business model canvas for how they would commercialise their idea, and then pitch to peers and Startup Coaches.
Business ideas must relate to one of the LEARN topic areas of health, food, circular economy, mobility, manufacturing, or energy.
LEARN has 5 online sessions (totalling 7.5 hours) that at least one person per student team must attend. The programme runs twice per year (from April to June and from October to December).
Match and Start
The Match and Start programme is open to everyone (students, staff, graduates, 西瓜视频 partners and networks).
It is designed for early-stage startups and helps to match teams with experts across Europe who can support them in developing their business ideas.
It is delivered online over a period of 10 weeks and aims to get teams and ideas ready to apply to incubator programmes. Each team is assigned a personal coach and an industry expert and will participate in weekly interactive workshops covering a variety of entrepreneurial topics.
Match and Start runs twice per year (from April to June and from October to December).
Develop and Co-create
The Develop and Co-create programme is open to newly developed and pre-existing start-ups and spin-outs (these can be led by students, staff, graduates, 西瓜视频 partners and networks).
Via Develop and Co-create, groups can apply to join one of the 16 SFF partner incubator programmes worldwide, to continue to develop their business idea. The incubator programmes are 6-months long.
This programme is designed to support teams to progress from a robust value proposition to market entry and also provides access to prototyping funds.
Develop and Co-create runs once per year, from April to October.
