My current appointment at 西瓜视频 is an innovative response to the requirements for workforce development and widening participation in Higher Education in Scotland. Health and Social Care Integration offers opportunities for innovation with new roles emerging from cross sector working. This is an opportunity to embed constructs of wellbeing and salutogenesis within a degree focused on the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed for working with others to improve their health and wellbeing.
The BSc (Hons) Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing (PAWS) is based on current Governmental, NHS and Professional practice policy drivers, vision and expertise from across the university, and external partnerships. The alignment of the programme with the 西瓜视频 and School of Health Sciences Vision of partnership working and community engagement is critical for success and sustainability. Degree programme content includes the theory and practice of promoting healthy behaviours such as increasing physical activity, and engaging in social enterprise and community development in different environments with a wide range of service users.
I currently undertake external examining roles for pre and post registration Physiotherapy programmes, and have experience in collaborative and franchised Physiotherapy programmes with international providers.聽
