The Report and Support platform allows you to report various forms of harassment and violence. It also provides access to advice and support. There are two ways you can report something, either by Reporting Anonymously or Reporting with contact details.Ìý

It is important to speak to someoneÌýsoon after an incident occurs so that you can get help, support and advice.
You are not alone. If you would like to speak with someone about your experience, please consider the following options:
- All students can access support directly through our student counselling and wellbeing service.Ìý Students can self-refer into our counselling and wellbeing service or email 'CWS@qmu.ac.uk'

- Online support platform for mental health can be accessed by all our Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ students and is called Togetherall
- If you are living on campus and the incident occurred in accommodation, consider talking to our accommodation team or security staff.Ìý
- You may consider speaking with your Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) or a member of your academic team

Types of reports
Report and support allows various forms of harassment and violence to be reported as well as providing access to follow up advice and support:
- Bullying and Harassment
- Rape, Sexual Assault and Harassment
- Relationship Abuse and Coercive Control
- Discrimination
- Hate Crime
- Violence and Assault
- Online Abuse
- Stalking
Reporting an Incident
There are two ways that you can report through Report and Support:
- Anonymous ReportingÌý– If you choose to make an anonymous report it will let the University know that something has happened, monitor trends and allow us to target proactive education and awareness raising activities. We won't know who has make the report so we will not be able to offer any advice and report. We will also not be able to take any action or use any details to identify any person in the report. Anonymous reports provide data for monitoring purposes and information will remain confidential. If you wish to receive support and advice as well as discuss options relating to making a complaint you need to report with contact details.
- Reporting with contact detailsÌý-Ìýthis is where you report an incident to the University and share your contact details. Details of other persons can be shared using this form and details around a particular incident can be detailed. One of our trained advisers will be in touch within three working days to offer you support and discuss what the next steps will be.
This does not usually automatically initiate a formal complaint. Options will be discussed with you by an adviser. Any information you provide will remain confidential unless there is a serious welfare, safety or a duty of care concern.
